As my shoot date was slowly creeping by, I had to ask everyone and everywhere regarding an actor to play Dave. Three days before I was about to shoot, I decided to give Luke a call and managed to get him onboard. He was hesitant at first but after listening to my pitch and finding out who he will be acting with, he agreed and was keen.
On Friday, I met up with both Ben and Luke together with Josh to get out an actor's rehearsal to make sure everyone is on the right page. There were a few minor changes here and there but we were all happy and was on the same page.
I felt my shoot went relatively well as it was all in one location and was really organized. I had fun as everyone was comfortable with each other and worked well together. One thing that I had to be aware off at all times was the well being of Luke as he was tied up on a chair 70% of the time and felt bad for him. But thanks to Ben Wilmot's scouting days, we were able to tie Luke up without any harm and was most of the time comfortable.
A few things that I can take out from this shoot was that it was rather challenging to keep track of the shots/scenes as the script had parts where both actors would switch places. Here are some BTS pictures courtesy of Josh Clive and Daisy Thor-poet.

Budget
In total, my shoot cost me around $250. I spent about $150 on wardrobe, $40 on food, $10 on fuel and around $50 for other props. Coming into the shoot, I thought I would had spent about $100 or less but I was happy how it all turned out. I think that the wardrobe really added more into my shoot.
Problems
During my shoot, I did not really encounter any problems that affected everyone as a whole. I think the hardest part for me was trying to figure out how to shoot the script without confusing myself, the crew and the talents.
Editing
I started on my syncing as soon as the shoot was over. I think I will only enter into proper editing mode as soon as Sebastian's shoot is over which is in two weeks. Here are some shots that came out from the shoot itself.
Overall self-reflection
I felt that there were some things that I left way too last minute and affected my mentality in making a film project. Some examples were finding actors and the location. But despite all the pullouts, I felt that my shoot was really organized and that everything worked well. I wished that I had gotten a safety take for each shot as I thought some would had worked better if there was another take to it. Overall I think I did well in organizing despite all the mishaps.
