These two weeks was a rather busy week for me as I had to figure out my research work as a whole and at the same time think about both my script and what I want to do for my exhibition.
First of all, I'll be talking about my script. Recently, I've gotten feedback on my script from SIT Pro and was given the idea of having a "flashforward" instead of a "flashback" in one of the scenes. This would then build up a cliffhanger rather than a "What next?" ending according to SIT Pro. They also said that my script was pretty solid and that there were just a few grammatical errors here and then.
Secondly for my exhibition, I've been working on a concept art thumbnail, a concept art and will soon be working on a storyboard. My original idea for this was to setup the green screen room in a way that it looks like an interrogation room with a handcuff cuffed onto a chair and a table in a dark room with only the light source coming from the top. A camera linked to a TV would then be put and aimed towards the chair as if you're being filmed while being interrogated. My second idea then then changed it into putting up a storyboard and concept art around it without the camera and the TV but this would rather seem bland. My third idea was to have the room setup as it is then have a voice recording of like a detective voice note playing in the background but I thought that this would rather be too much work in the short time that I have since I've already started on doing a concept art and soon to work on the storyboard.

The concept art thumbnail was not completed properly yet since I was lacking time and decided I should work on my concept art then move onto the storyboard before I come back to this one.
I think with my exhibition, I might most likely put a camera linked onto the TV whilst having my concept art thumbnails, concept art and storyboard up on the side would do it.
Lastly as for my research, I've changed my topic of focus from "In what way can soundscaping from a crime genre story change and affect the emotions of the audiences?" to "Exploring the dynamics of a character in a crime genre short film through the cinematic aspect of storytelling through the actors". With this, I'll be focusing more on the character's attitude in my film and how it slowly changes over time as the Interrogation scene goes on.
Since our Outline is to due soon, I find that this would be really challenging for me to figure out in terms of the research aspect. But after the discussion that I had between the tutors, I finally feel that I'm on the right track in regards of the research paper without any confusions or frustration between each other.
